Join us on April 20th for our next Durham East Chapter meeting!
Machinery Safety and the Pre-Start Health and Safety Review Process
This presentation will cover how the Pre-Start Health and Safety Review (PSR) process is an integral part of your machinery safety compliance and due diligence activities. A brief review of the applicable regulations will be followed by when, where and how to apply the PSR process to the purchase of new machinery or modifications to existing machinery or processes. Ontario Regulation 851 Section 7 – Pre-start Health and Safety Reviews has been around since November 2000 – any equipment that meets the criteria in Section 7 and that has been installed or modified in the last 16+ years must have a PSR report available for review by an MOL inspector and the JHSC. Are you compliant? Come out to this meeting and find out!
